SUMMARY
The Adult BrainStem Glioma Group is a private email list of surivors and caregivers. The group is hosted by T.H.E. Brain Trust, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization specializing in internet based and patient oriented brain tumor support groups. The size of our group is consistent with the rarity of brainstem gliomas in adults. Our tight-knit, online community is a strong, emotional and health information support system. Members have expressed numerous times how invaluable this connection is to their survival and well-being in the complicated world of brain tumors. If you or someone special to you has or has had a brainstem glioma, we welcome you to join our group!

DEMOGRAPHICS
While most of our members live in the United States and Canada, we do have members all over the world.

CONTENT
When a new member joins, we encourage them to share information about their situation, concerns and any questions they might have. Other group members will send their reply either to the group, or personally, but all are interested and share your concerns. Many members read the posts but do not post their own messages, others post frequently, others may post on occasion – it is up to you. Our group is here for anyone who needs it. Email addresses are kept confidential and not shared.
