Our Community Members
People are the foundation of the Healing Exchange BRAIN
TRUST. Local and online volunteers, as well as the email
list members who connect daily in our online groups, are
the builders of our community.
We are proud of our community members who are making a difference
in the lives of others. The Tim Gullikson Spirit Award illustrates
the impact we have made in the brain tumor community. The
award recognizes a person who makes an extraordinary effort
in helping brain-tumor patients and their families in dealing
with this illness. The first four Tim Gullikson Spirit Award
Recipients (David M. Bailey 1999; Samantha Scolamiero 2000;
Mary Lowe 2001; Sheryl Shetsky 2002) are active members
of the BRAINTMR list community. They have participated actively
online and offline over the last decade together and have
participated in "The Healing Exchange" of information, support
and LOVE which is the hallmark of our groups. These People,
whom The Gullikson Foundation appreciates most in the brain
tumor community, embrace, value and continue to build T.H.E.
BRAIN TRUST as an essential resource for assisting other
brain tumor patients, survivors, families, health professionals,
researchers and ultimately, themselves.
